Designed by renowned United States-Ehrlich Architects (now: EYRC), the FlagHouse building shall provide initially 10,000sqm of business space for anchor tenants. The LEED Gold-oriented building design was guided by the provisions in the Abuja Technology Village Free Zone Green Book produced by the Richard Rogers organisation.
The project will be a design benchmark for the ATVFZ development, as well as a vantage point to overlook the larger district site as it progresses through construction. FlagHouse is the anchor building in the Science and Technology Park/ Special Economic Zone that is being developed via an FBOT (Finance Build Operate & Transfer) model.
The building aims to be the largest Innovation hub in Nigeria. Working as a centre of excellence bringing together people, technology and finance to create some of the most dynamic and disruptive businesses in Nigeria and Africa. Global and local hub operators will partner with Canji and bring best in class skills and advisory services to the table and develop solutions to varying issues that challenge the developing world and help turn around the human development index in Africa.
FlagHouse is financed and operated by Canji Projects ATV FZE, a subsidiary of the Financial Trust Group and supported by multinational team of construction and facility management experts.
