CANJI PROJECTS ATV FZE was incorporated under the Nigerian Export Processing Zone Act (NEPZA) CAP 107 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004 on the 2nd of February 2016 to execute a Build Operate and Transfer project in the Abuja Technology Project FZE. The project is the FlagHouse, a multi storey office tower to house tech companies in Nigeria’s largest Science and Technology Park (STP). The company was tasked with developing infrastructure in the Abuja Technology Village Free Zone Enterprise.
With no advanced competitive park in the region, we took advantage of the opportunity and with the completion of the FlagHouse, it is well positioned to become the major destination of companies to reside and do business and serve the West African Markets and beyond.
Mr. Alexander O. Ajayi is the Group Managing Director (GMD) of Financial Trust Company. It’s Flagship company and the oldest indigenous stockbroking firm in Nigeria (Financial Trust Company Limited). Mr. Ajayi has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the American University in Washington D.C., a master’s degree in Applied Economics from University of Buckingham in the UK and one year of doctoral studies (PhD Economics) at Columbia University, New York. His business background includes stints in the telecommunications, financial services and utilities industries. He is also a director of Cumberland Oil Ltd, a player in the downstream sector of Nigeria hydrocarbon industry and Motor city Nigeria Ltd (promoting motoring and motor sport development in Lagos, Nigeria). Alexander is a dual Nigerian and Canadian citizen.
Mr. Oghenovo Emorhokpor is a founding partner at Beta.Ventures – a Delaware registered Venture Capital firm operating in Nigeria. Beta.Ventures has two funds under management and Fund II is anchored by TripleJump B.V. out of the Netherlands. It invests in early stage technology enabled companies. He is also a co-founder and a Director of Siziba International Ltd., a pan‐African investment firm. Notable investment by Siziba is Amayi Foods, owners of the popular brands – Toma Peppe, Poi Poi Sauce and Rodo Peppe.
Mr. Oghenovo is a seasoned executive with over 20 years experience in senior-level roles in technology and corporate business development in the US and Nigeria.
His past professional experience includes managerial positions at Goldman Sachs, AOL, and Chubb Insurance.
He sits on the boards of Ajo Card, Produce Africa Technologies Ltd., Abia Retail Company (ARCO) Ltd., and Financial Trust Group in Nigeria.
He obtained his B.A Computer Science from Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey, USA and his MBA in Finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA.
Mr. Atobatele specialize in the strategic implementation of infrastructural social impact projects, with a special focus on digital globalization. His primary focus is using proprietary JustInTime Systems framework to promote digital globalization to micro and small businesses, create economic inclusion for the unbanked and underbanked, while also mentoring technology startups.
He has been in the information technology business since 1977 and has extensive design, managerial, and project lead experience in transactional systems, data warehousing, and the Internet, he has worked on projects in the real estate, utilities, telecommunication, financial services, and retail industries, in Nigeria, Canada, Denmark, and the United Kingdom.
He is the architect of the Operational Data Warehouse (ODW) which introduced the concept of Application Programming Interfaces (API’s), JustInTime operational data warehouses, and JustInTime applications.
We are providing an investment and partnership opportunity to develop the FlagHouse of the Abuja Technology Village Free Zone (ATV), a Science & Technology Park (STP) under a BOT Model. We are involved in each stage of the project, from architectural design, planning approval and construction. We also provide building maintenance and facility management solutions.
